Jenevive

I want to create a character,
a person to play with,
like playing dolls or dress up,
but I want to create a personality, too.

She is sweet but wild,
timid yet fun,
a hard rocker,
in the midday sun.

I shall name her Jenevive,
sounds pretty,
like a name I couldn’t achieve,
of course, she isn’t blonde,
she is not a Barbie doll,
her hair as black as night,
maybe a pink streak,
it runs down the left side of her face,
flowing in the wind,
sounds cliché,
but a rather nice image.

She is sweet but wild,
timid yet fun,
a hard rocker,
in the midday sun.

Her black leather,
makes her tough,
only on the outside,
her rocky exterior shows,
although, on the inside,
she’s as soft as pillows,
her smile is warm and friendly,
but in a wink,
turns vivacious and flirty,
although she is beautiful,
she cannot be perfect.

She is sweet but wild,
timid yet fun,
a hard rocker,
in the midday sun.

Flaws are accepted,
by all of her friends,
they care not about,
her chipped tooth,
or her girly laugh,
they love who she is,
and that is that.
