as golden dawn drowns out what light only night can tell

the diurnal know not the mysteries missed beyond the shadow's spell

the world awaits it's children's queries for whom only stars can quell

moonlight shines in idyllic eyes of souls fearing sun's first rays their knell

silvery mist lost in a light so bright as day

leaves a lover of the night unable to find her way

stranded in the sun and from her home so far away

one path to travel she needs her night no matter the toll to pay
