- Limbo -

I see your face,
without a voice;
a replay of our past life,
Father and Son.

Like a silent movie
in the middle of the night,
there you are, once again,
not dead,
alive, moving, young, handsome,
‘my dad’,
helping me on my first mountain climb,
but, somehow, I can’t
feel you.
You are there and not
there,
at the same time;
unattached to my reality,
but living in my dream;
in the same breath of air
of disconnected time.

‘why?’

‘why can’t we talk to each other?'

I see you clear as day;
a vision of torture
as I always have to
wake up
and you
just fade away.
