Flying Without Wings

Tonight I take my life,

This will be my final flight.

When I fly without wings.

I'm over you,

through with your hate.

But the scars you have given me,

I can never escape.

So tonight is my final night,

Darkness, I pray.

Take me— help me fly away.

Welcome death,

It's all your fault.

I will take the coward's way out.

My blood will be your guilt.

So tonight is my final night,

Darkness, I pray.

Take me— help me fly away.

Tonight I take my life,

This will be my final flight.

When I fly without wings.

Bloody now,

All life fading.

Blood on my wrists, tears at my eyes,

I'm dying to be free.

So tonight is my final night,

Darkness, I pray.

Take me— help me fly away.

It's too late,

The blood won't stop.

In this horrible, painful world,

Another soul has fled.

So tonight was my final night,

Darkness, I pray.

Beautiful death— I flew away.

Tonight I take my life,

This will be my final flight.

When I fly without wings.

Tonight I take my life,

This will be my final flight.

When I fly without wings.
