Seem to adore and envy

The one who has conformed

To the school crowd’s view

Of perfection

But sometimes I wonder

If you cry at night

And if you would wish

To drift away

Into obscurity with me

To dance and laugh with me

In the shadows of obscurity

So here’s a choice

Between the limelight and the shadows

Take your pick and take a chance

Come and dance with me
