Can you see the lie in my eyes?

Every thing I haven’t quite said.

What are you going to do about this?

I can see the weight on your shoulders

Of everything you meant to say.

What should I do about this?

I sort of like this static state

We’ve clung to for so long.

Familiar pain is better then none.

I can’t see through the lie in my eyes,

But that’s all right.

You can’t pick your head up long enough to look at me.
