Did I tell you about

The other day

I took a different route

And really lost my way

In the middle of nowhere

With nothing familiar

But I didn’t care

That I couldn’t compare

I knew I’d be coming back

To you at home

Even if home is a shack

At least I’m not alone

So I drove for miles

At a slow pace

Smiling all the while

Wasn’t in a rush to race

Just enjoying all

Of nature’s beauty

So happy it didn’t stall

I knew you’d be waiting

I knew I’d be coming back

To you at home

Even if home is a shack

At least I’m not alone

I knew I’d be coming back

To you at home

Even if home is a shack

At least I’m not alone

Thought about not

Turning back around

It was just a thought

And I didn’t’ leave the ground

I disposed of the idea

Cause I couldn’t leave you behind

Too hard to say see ya

When I’ve got you in mind

I knew I’d be coming back

To you at home

Even if home is a shack

At least I’m not alone

I knew I’d be coming back

To you at home

Even if home is a shack

At least I’m not alone

So I’m gonna drive

‘til I find my way home

So you can see I’m still alive

And that we’re not alone

So I’m gonna drive

‘til I find my way home

So you can see I’m still alive

And that we’re not alone

So I’m gonna drive

‘til I find my way home

So you can see I’m still alive

And that we’re not alone
