Prologue:
“Hello, Dria, we finally meet”
Cold chills ran up my spine as the deep, cold voice whispered in my ear. I turned around to see a thin face, tight curly black hair, and bright green eyes. His face bore an attractive 5 o’ clock shadow, as if he hadn’t shaved in a day or two. The man had to be in his early twenties. He was very alluring and appealing in an almost provocative manner. He was smiling at me, but it wasn’t an inviting smile, it was almost like he was teasing me. My mind raced, trying to connect the face with a memory, a name, or anything that would give me a clue as to who he was!
“Don’t you remember, me, Dria, Baby? Ouch! I thought I meant more than that to you. Perhaps you need me to remind you of how much you need me…”
Dria BABY!? Who did he think he was? The only person who ever called me baby was…oh, heavens, don’t let it be…. “Damien?” The face smiled approvingly. I cringed noticeably.
“You do remember, very good”
He had grabbed my wrists and was forcefully dragging me with him. I don’t understand. It’s been months, almost a year. Why now? Everything was going so good. Why now?
A/N Ok, guys, I haven’t written anything but poems in over a year, I’m trying to get back into this. Any and all reviews are greatly appreciated. Oh, and quick note, I’m sure y’all figured this out, but this will be written from the point of you of inside Dria’s mind, you’ll be seeing what she sees and it’s written, hopefully, how the brain works. It won’t all be logical, but it should end up making sense….we’ll see how it works out.
