He spots a paper hat, covered in glitter
God only knows what it represents
At this dance
Don't ask me
It wasn't my idea to come here
With obvious maturity
He lances it at me
Like a dusty snowball
Screeching
I grab the hat
And make a sparkly mess
Before attacking boy, number two
Who cowers at the thought
GLITTER
GLITTER
Who's afraid of glitter?
His lack of fear is explained to me
His girlfriend thinks it's sexy
And I happened to be covered with it
What a coincidence
Naturally, I screech
And hide while I came
Before she saves me from my refuge
Asking where I possibly could have gone
When I could have stayed with her
I really shouldn't be so shy
