Mirror, Mirror, Are You Wrong?
What mirror is this that I gaze in?
That makes me look so ill at ease?
I smile and love my pure reflection
Who wouldn't want to love me?
But as I walk among you
Your beauty seems to shine
So much more and yet so fake
It's all one big disguise
And once I look in the mirror again
I see my features fade
My visage is not as gorgeous
As everyone seems to say
There I stare into the glass
Is this where my soul should dwell?
Mirror, mirror, are you wrong?
I know you cannot tell
But I wish that they could see me
The way that I once had
If only you could show me
A face that wasn't so sad
But for now, I wait inside
My reflection gone unseen
Until someone can find
The soul deep within me
