Beauty mauled by Beast,
The Frog Prince forgot his kiss,
Red Riding Hood became a feast.

Cinderella’s shattered shoe,
Snow White had to choke,
The Little Mermaid’s served with chips,
Sleeping Beauty never woke.

My fairy tales are dark,
And disturbing, you can see,
I don’t go for happy endings,
But cynical irony.
