Where Nothingness Begins
Darkened crimson blood drips down—
Flowing fluidly all around;
Pooling slowly; draining free;
Bleeding scarlet misery!
Ebony blanket wraps my limbs—
This glee is ending; this end begins!
This drowsy ennui; listless time;
And this blackness is divine!
The verdant eyes follow my path
In your angry gaze, I’ll feel your wrath;
I’ll see eyes weep; shiny as glass—
Brilliant emeralds fading fast!
Burning orange of this fire—
Blazing flame of your desire;
I’ve watched the ash drift from the flames—
Orange glaring bright as this pain!
This milky whiteness of your skin—
This ends where nothingness begins!
Nothingness begins where blackness ends—
Hiding in the light to pretend!
