he future comes upon us with swift wings

and our lives hold little meaning

yet when friends gather

and there is laughter

the future is bright

and little sleep is refreshing

spring water is fulfilling

blueberries are sweetest

the sun is warmest

the wind is coolest

the moon is brightest

and the purest of hearts

and the lessened thoughts
