Deep under the skin

the truth lies within

it begs and pleads

wanting release

it creeps and crawls

spreading like a cancer

killing the cells of the player

eating the hate of the slayer,

My heart is gone

whisked away with the wind

dragged away in the rain

bled out under the moon

buried under the beating sun,

I stand alone

no more feelings or emotions

no more pain or relief

no more excitement or grief

the end of happiness and despair

it all stays inside the grey

deeper than it can be found

never making the usual rounds,
