Yet another from my first anthology, 'How it is like Here in the future.' It concerns one of those nights when you stay up till the sun hits the horizon and you go have coffee with Quiobbs at 6am after a night of drinking. Enjoy!

Incense, albatross,
Meteor range,
Infection, fraction,
Mind glaze
Upside down,
Around and off
Black shadow can
And candle stop
Shadow of a wheel
In David's eyes;
See many things fall over
When in the skies
While taking a look inside
Wondering why to be blind,
Eating feet of outset craze,
His eye is hazy and the sky is malaise
Evolving pillars of octopus things;
Holes cry out while rods intercede
Glasses and glasses
And glasses of strife;
The seat is very big,
The oars across the way
While the owl creaks
Fall skyward ways
And enter phase
