Hyphenated-
(n. A punctuation mark (-) used between the parts of a compound word or name or between the syllables of a word, especially when divided at the end of a line of text.)

Bea has a hyphen in her name
Tan Jun-Nian Beatrice.
See?

Isn’t it so cool,
The hyphen in her name?

Jo has a hyphen in her name
Ho Shu-En Joanne
See?

Isn’t it so cool,
The hyphen in her name?

Grace has a hyphen in her name
Chan Si-Hui Grace.
See?

Isn’t it so cool,
The hyphen in her name?

Don’t you
wish
you had a hyphen in your name?

Perhaps I do.

But really, I don’t.
For it wastes more ink
than a blank space.

A/N: I do so love hyphens in names. This is, in actual fact, the first poem I wrote (for a school assignment), but I did this slipshot to hand in the next day, so I won’t count it as my first.
