I'm laying in a bed of thorns
Trying to bleed out the poison
That has consumed me
My impure body
Has forsaken me
Oh, why me?
Give in to unpure thoughts
of passion and wanting
Of things people would refer to as
a "sin"
I thought to myself
'I will not give in'
To unpure thoughts
of betrayal
But my body has forsaken me
And I have done the deed
All I can think of is,
what will my father say?
When I tell him
Of my unpure, vile deed
that has been done
That I did not stop
But simply wanted
Desires...
Consumed my thoughts
I swallow hard
My breath caught in my throat
Ready to face him
My greatest fear (today)
I step foward
My mouth opens
He turns his head towards me
And I begin to speak
