A/n: I wrote this on December 31, 2004. Don’t ask. Anyway, just a quick thing since I was bored while momma was on the computer...which was in my room at the time. Hope you like! Enjoy!

He looked down at the grave where she lay, cold, dead. She had been gone a year that very day. Ripped away so violently during the attack.

When he closed his eyes he could still see her. Dark violet eyes sparkling with happiness. Crimson hair flowing to her waist. Stomach slightly rounded with their first child. He still heard her voice when he was alone. Laughing with joy, telling him some mad up fairy tale to make him smile, crying with grief or anger. And her touch, oh so gentle, in the darkness when he couldn't sleep.

Reaching down, he replaced he dead, decaying lillies with the fresh roses he picked from her garden. The day she was torn away replayed in his mind as he stared at the flowers.

He had searched frantically for her among the chaos. Just a moment ago he had seen her. She had been right next to him, tears flowing from her eyes in fright.

"Where are you?" He called, stepping into a small clearing in town. And then his heart nearly stopped at the horrific sight he saw before him.

His beloved, lying in the dirt, unmoving. Her ruby locks matted with what, he feared, was blood. The grey dress she had been wearing was ripped and torn in places it should not have been.

"My love!" Gently taking her into his arms, he saw what had been done to her. Stomach had been slashed open, the child removed. Neck had been slitter, vein punctured. Head had been gashed, white of bone showing.

Holding her close, he sobbed. Her blood flowed onto his body, staining his clothes the deepest of reds. And her violet eyes, once beautiful with life, stared up at him, wide with pain and lifeless.

Glancing up at the sky one more time, he took out the dagger, blade glinting in the sunlight. One solitary tear fell before he pressed it to his neck and slashed. With his last ounce on strength, Josarian crawled to the side of the grave and died next to his beloved Sabrina.

A/n: Well, did you like? I really hope it didn’t suck. R&R if you will please.
