A/n: Written almost a year and a half ago. Slight mention of sex at the end, so if you don’t like, click the back button now. Please. No flames, because I have warned you. Enjoy!

I met her on New Year's Eve in Time's Square. She was standing alone to the side, watching as others got drunk off their rockers. Only one word ran through my mind: Beautiful.

Pale green hair was in a fancy up do, complete with tiara. Lavender eyes gazed into the sea of people. Her black dress clung to her body, showing off her angelic curves. A glass of champagne was held in her left hand, blood red nails tapping the side lightly.

Approaching her, I introduced myself. She told me her name was Aliana, and that her friends had ditched her, even though it was her birthday. I sympathized, and then offered her a dance. She accepted.

Music pounded as we moved, barely any space between our bodies. Heat rose as the beat continued. I held her waist as she moved against me. She ran a finger down my cheek, her face flushed, and whispered a request in my ear. Looking down at her, face red, panting slightly, hair falling down past her shoulders, I made up my mind. I grabbed her arm and led her off.

We caught a cab back to my hotel. On the way there she kissed me, full of passion and lust. I responded, and when we arrived at our destination, we near sprinted to my room, fighting our urges for the time being.

Aliana was beautiful, moonlight splashing across her naked body. She cried out for me, calling my name as we made love. s the ball dropped in the square below, she climaxed, screaming for me. She curled up against me, shivering, half asleep. I pulled the blanket over us.

It was then I realized we were meant for each other. I looked down at her, sleeping in my arms. She was not only my first, she was mine. As I started to slip into dreams, I whispered those fated three words.

"I love you."

Aliana shifted slightly in her sleep. She must've heard me, as she mumbled, "I love you too, Ryoko."

It didn't matter we were both girls. We fell in love at Times Square.

A/n: Well? I hope you liked it. Mom was on the computer when I wrote it, and, well, yeah. I wrote this in April/May 2004...surprisingly. Anyway, R&R if you will please
