Wishing, Waiting, Hoping
Written September 26, 2005

Wishing,
Waiting,
Hoping
For you to call

Longing
Dreaming,
Thinking of you
Standing at my doorstep

Knowing,
realizing,
coming to the conclusion
that
you never will

You don't see me
the way I see you
You think that I'm
just the weird fat girl,
Right?

I don't see you
as the jock
everyone thinks you are
I know how mcuh
you love to play
that cello,
That it hurts to
have to hid

Show yourself to me,
bare your soul
let out some of the
steam

I'll be waiting for that call

On the previous: random ramblings in English class. First posted poem ever.
