He used to smoke

And sometimes he drinks

That's what he claims

I hate those things

More than I hate my

Worst enemy

I know what you're thinking

So, then, why him?

Why not that ideal boy

You've always dreamed of?

Why everything you dispise

In heaven's place?

Maybe because

Though he isn't

Everything I want

And he isn't the

Boy in my fairytale

He isn't you, but instead

He's your complete opposite

Purposely,

I chose, yet

Unknowingly until questioned

That he isn't you

He isn't the best

But that's okay

Because he isn't you

And that was the plan in

The back of my mind.

Goodbye you.

He might not be you

But he loves me just the same

If not better

And I never have to look

In his eyes,

And see everything I want to

Forget.
