Through the Stalker's Mind

A dark sentinel
Cropped in the unseen corners
Listening to you
Scouts your enigmatic ways...
Wishing for real seduction.

Everywhere you go
To markets and down the path
He watches you move
Hearing the words you utter...
They stick in his mind for good.

He gazes in awe
Hidden from your keen eyesight
Whispers to no one
But himself in the darkness...
Hoping you smell safe.

Your beauty's in vain
He shall bid to ravish you
Shush; don't say a word
Don't even strike a movement...
Let him replete his spirit.

He's no murderer
Perhaps a little desperate
To take you by arm
And force you into darkness...
I'll release you at sunrise.
