Remind me again

what it feels like

to be broken because of your choices.

Let me live with the pain

of knowing I will never

see you again,

and never get to say goodbye.

-

I cannot impress upon you

how much you mean to me,

nor how horribly

I fear for you,

because I know the urge

that life can bring.

-

But don't give in,

my friend,

don't let yourself be lost

in this hellhole we call life.

Let me help you-

take the hand I offer

to pull you from

the grave you would dig

for yorself.

Let me be the light,

just as you hav ebeen

so many times for me.

-

But in the end,

if you cannot find the joy

in living,

feel free to

remind me again

what it feels like

to die inside.
