Into the Sea

In a familiar dream, I see you stand,
Your toes dangling on the very edge,
Your hair dancing with the piercing breeze,
Your love flowing as streams of red
And I see you extend your hands away,
Accepting life for what it’s given,
I watch you lean your body forward,
Letting gravity engulf your skin

I walk forward to see your plunge,
Into the rocks and the sea below,
Your head dives forward with eyes wide open,
Smiling as your fate comes near
I watch the sea accept a visitor,
As you vanish from a lonesome view,
My impulse sends me to that very sea,
Knowing your destiny has found you…
