A/N: I wrote this while listening to the song When The Sun Sleeps by Underoath. This poem means a lot to me and though you won't understand exactly what it says according to my perspective, interpret it however you want and tell me in your reviews.
Always Be
I remember that day when they took you
She thought you’d all come back But I knew it was over
Knew it was too late
Was it something I said
What did I do wrong
All I know
Is now you gone
And I wish you where here
So I could watch you grow
I miss you so much
No one could comprehend
But I refuse to cry
Bottle it all up
Inside of me, where no one can ever see
And I remember our last visit
You were so happy there
With a new family
Where I am just lost in your past
And I refuse to cry
Bottle it all up
Inside of me, where no one can ever see
I wish this never happened
And these memories where not mine
But it’s too late to change the past
I wish I had said good bye
Thought you would not understand
Maybe if I had
I would not be this way
But I refuse to cry
Bottle it all up
Inside of me, where no one can ever see
That I will always be this way
