Colors blurred in the rush,

I asked for his embrace,

I was begging on the inside

For him to hold me tight

Just to stay in his place.

With a dash, and a blush,

I was smitten with his touch,

I smiled for a moment

Waiting for a climax,

That had already passed.

My heart did not sink,

But rejoiced in the simple fact,

That I’d see him again,

Before the day’s end,

And another rendez-vous.

He let me go, as usual,

Into another frontier of men,

Confident in the fact,

That I am faithful, and true,

Our special bond shan’t be severed.

Held together with a kiss,

In the moment, we begged each ther,

To never let go, and in our silence,

We whispered without sound,

In a room, in a crowd.

I love him, and he loves me,

But we’re such a travesty,

Caught in a blast of awkward moments,

Longing to justify a reason to speak.

Silent, and still, as always.

Author’s Note: I was inspired by a boy I love. I’m still to embarrassed to show him everything I’ve written for and to him. Don’t want to create anymore Awkward moments. 3
