Peter sat in his chambers with a sly grin spread across his face. Her plan was going to work...it just had to. Thoughts of a triumphant glory made their way lazily across his mind as he waited for Jessy to complete her part of the deal.

Now all he had to do was wait...

Jessy had crossed the bridge not long ago. It was still raining fiercly, but like before, she didn't mind. Keeping her eyes on the prize, snuck down the quite palace corridors. Everyone was quite asleep; they were still too tired from the night before.

She made her way to Leo's bedroom and slowly opened the door. There, on the bed, lay a peacefully sleeping Adalin. Water was running from the bathroom, making Jessy aware of the man's wearabouts. Smirking quietly to herself, she crossed, wraith like, to Adalin's lovely form. She picked Adalin up easily and turned around as quietly as she could. She glanced around once before tip toeing out of the room and closing the door behind her.

She would take Adalin back to Peter and she would make sure that it was she who was around to comfort poor Leo.

Especially after she told him the "truth". Snickering, she walked the rest of the way to her horse, situated her burden, and made her way to the bridge.

Revenge is oh so sweet.

Leo turned off of the tap as he hummed some ancient lulliaby. Adalin was able to cheer him up like nothing else. Before he had meet her, he didn't really care about the kingdom, about his responsibilities, about anything. But then she showed up...

He sighed as he remembered her sweet kisses and how perfectlyher body felt laying next to his. His face brightened considerably as thought of where he was going to take her today...

He pushed open the door quickly but let his hand fall from the wooden surface as he noticed something about the bed that startled him.

It was empty.

Adlain awoke to strange surroundings.

"Did you sleep well my darling?" a voice uttered quite close to her ear. She bolted upright in fright.

"Where, what, who, am..." she stuttered. Shaking her head she glanced at the fully clothed man lying next to her. "PETER?!?"

He smiled in reply.

"DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE DONE?" she yelled.

He yawned and nodded slowly. "You are to be my wife, are you not?" She glared at him.

"But when Leo finds out that I am gone... I have to get back to him." She jumped from the bed and walked towards the door. Peter bet her to the door as he stood in front of it.

"We need to talk," he stated.

A/N: I know that it took me so very long to update and that the chapter is very short. But my story "The Beast in the Library" has been stealing my muse. It is based on one of my favorite fairytales, Beauty and the Beast, and so I have been really getting into it. I am hopefully going to be switching gears and getting back to this story soon, but until then, please bare with me.

Thanks for all of the reviews!

Lux: Well, hopefully you can stop staring at your computer! That comment made me laugh so hard.

hollykesten: aiaiiaiii?

WaterFox: -cough- Jessy and Peter? Where ever did you get that idea? -grins-
