Alone in my own darkness,
I call for you,
I cry for you,
And you’re not there.
The blood stains my hands,
And the dagger holds shreds of your heart.
Was it I that killed you?
Did I send you away?
Over and over I scream,
I call for you,
I cry for you,
And you’re not there.
It was my darkness,
That devoured you.
Consumed for a love that could not be,
And I killed you.
Alone in my own darkness,
I call for you,
I cry for you,
And you’re always there.
