Not-so-Remote Control

Televsion is the plastic God

We all bow down before

Watching things we want to believe

Things we call 'reality'

I don't want to see what's on T.V.

What's on the tube tonight?

Which countries have been set alight?

Which celebrities are getting married

Which politicians aren't caring?

What's on the show tonight?

What morally just isn't right

How many people died today

How many people still aren't saved?

Maybe we should check and see

What's on TV

The video screen burns a hole in me

Turn away so I don't see

A billion possibilities

All fall victim to the TV screen

Another lost and nothing found

A generation has been drowned

Smash the remote and mute the sound

Just please get rid of the TV

What's on the tube tonight?

Which countries have been set alight?

Which celebreties are getting married?

Which politicians are not caring?

What's on the show tonight?

What morally just is not right

How many people died today

How many of them weren't saved?

Maybe we should watch TV

'Till everything loses it's meaning!

What's on TV tonight?
