"Shivers Dancing"
By Cassandra Freiborg 10/27/05
His
eyes are smoldering,
you look away,
too afraid to say,
what
you cant stop thinking.
Shivering,
its cold outside,
but
inside your freezing,
whispering in your mind,
warm me
please,
warm me please.
Running down your spine,
little
ripples of excitement,
and extreme terror,
they dance in your
eyes,
and I can see it,
oh I can see it...
and so can
he.
Your grip tightens,
clings to this parchment,
and you're
too terrified,
to let it go.
Its crinkled now,
opened and
closed,
so many times,
it looks like,
you've been smothering
it,
for a long time.
Let it flutter from your grasp,
and
your eyes widen,
as it lands on his desk,
he looks at you,
eyes
smoldering,
and the shivers come back,
dancing in your
eyes,
and I can see it,
oh I can see it...
and so can he.
