Summer days fly by me,
Last thing I knew, I was asleep,
Where the days went, I can't see,
Now homework piles up in heaps.

Birthday surprises
If I had to rate them
A hug from my crush

Growing up is not much fun,
I now understand why the elderly are cranky,
I sometimes wish life were a Honey Bun,
No one else is in step with me.

Fourteen
Not a big number,
but for me, nothing can be more infinite.

I'll never amount to my brother,
Because I am me,
But maybe you'll dismiss me as a bother,
and I'll make my own legacy.

Alas, tis my birthday today! I just sat down and wrote this! (Don't expect the best- I wrote it in ten minutes)

Oh, and the haiku about the hug from my crush...okay- He doesn't know it, but he's a kinda/pretty much friend, and I told him today that it was my birthday (just met him like a month ago) and he hugged me. I'm serious people, he is the biggest crush I've ever had. Of course, I hardly ever have crushes, but- I digress. He's funny and hot and nice and he doesn't know I like him (it's going to stay that way!). I'm going on like a love-struck idiot, but at this moment, I feel like one. Which really scares me in an off-hand sorta way.

coughs

Yeah...
