Demon tag

Tomorrow I’ll be gone

Someone will take my place

I don’t know her, but she knows my face

She’ll swoop down and steal my mask

Talk like me, walk like me

And everyone will know it’s me

So I won’t have to worry anymore

I don’t have to be original

I don’t have to be anything

Demon tag

Close your eyes

Count to ten

Then I’ll be gone

Something is better than nothing

This crazy dream has to stop

Time is falling through my fingers

And I don’t have time to play in the rain

I’m searching for a new face

Or an old one

long forgotten

now remembered

For a new place to be

Cause my old one is wearing thin

Demon tag

Close your eyes

Count to five

Then I’ll be gone

Tearing thin walls

Breaking the walls to find the mask room

Which mask to take

They are all wrong

Because they are all masks

I have to find a way

Remove all the faces

Place them on a wall

So I can see them hung

Their eternal expressions

Where my true face was once hidden

Demon tag

Close your eyes

When you wake up

I’ll be gone
