Everyone either cheered or just stared at her like they wanted to shoot her.
Meanwhile, Surrey sat glumly by herself in the front row. For some reason she couldn't put her heart into her cheers like 50 percent of the student body and Weeping Willow High could.
While her heart wasn't in it, Samhiel's was on fire as he nervously waited. The sweat coursing across his muscles and face was making his missions near impossible...
"Alright, now that we have some spirit going! Let's get this party started up! Whaddya say, WWH?!"
A few bleak, "Woo"'s answered her as the light dimmed.
"O-K," Pam screeched, smiling from ear to ear, "let's-..." And than her happy-go-lucky attitude had dissolved into confusion. "What's going on?"
The lights kept dimming, all but one anyways.
The student body leaned forward in interests as a couple of guys in dark hoods rolled forth two large as Hell speakers.
"Thanks, squirt," Samhiel whispered to one of them as he prepared to step forward.
Vincent gave him a soft smile from underneath the hood as he vanished back into his ethereal world, "Good luck...."
Holding up the microphone, Samhiel lowered his voice into what he had been practicing for about a month now. "I've been waiting for this...for a long time."
"Oh my God," Surrey's gothic friend cried from behind her violin, "I'd know that voice anywhere!"
Surrey herself watched in sheer awe as the one, the only....
"Scorn DeLatrix!"
Guitar crept romantically from the speakers as Samhiel glided across the floor, eyes set on her fiercely.
A couple of seats down from her, Thomas called, "You two are knowing each other, Surrey?" His voice was concerned, his eyes almost seeming to frown at the toned man dressed in tight black pants, standing shirtless before them with his wild red hair tressed seductively.
Licking his lips, Samhiel rasped out, "You all seem scared of lil' ol' me...But I'm not here to hurt anybody ..."
Tossing his head back he shut his eyes and gave a gasp of pain, "Oh God, it hurts so good! I've been waiting forever to reclaim my bride..."
Stumbling, Samhiel lowered his head to the ground as though he was weakened and pointed into the crowd, "Can somebody help me find her? Here's a hint, she's the prettiest girl in this dark world of ours..."
Surrey gave a tiny gasp of shock as her body seemed to float out of it's sitting position and towards the metal god who eyed her hungrily as she drifted towards him.
"I have...a confession," he whispered, taking a pause between every two words, "I'm in..."
One more long pause came as Surrey floated down the bleachers, shivering with fear as he held out one lean, glistening arm to her wantonly.
"For so long have I missed you, my dark bride. I must confess, this all has been tearing me up inside," he sang out. Then like a snake he struck out and pulled her into his body, face pressing inches from hers as she gazed up at him in terror.
"I want everyone to know," he whispered into the microphone, eyes penetrating hers softly, slowly, " that I'm in love with you, Surrey Lilian Zexamine..."
She blushed as he used her full time. It kept turning a darker red as every inch of his body sank into hers and she took in the violent beauty of her stalker. "S-Scorn..."
Venom blinked than yelled, "Thou shalt not address Scorn unless it is by his full name!!"
Pulling her close, he rasped out in the most beautiful voice she had ever heard, "Dark angel, surrounding me, evading me, escaping me. One kiss, I'm begging you, I'm pleading you...on one knee."
A low gasp rose from her throat as they rose from the ground, his arm gently under her the backs of her knees as she quickly clung to his throat.
About 900 people gasped at the same time. Papers left behind rose from the ground and blew about them in a slow cyclone as his eyes bore into hers. "Dark angel...I'm begging you..."
As his lips sank forward slowly she let out a moan of protest, of disbelief that just kept getting deeper as the kiss deepened.
His kiss, she gasped silently, it's so...he's so...
Oh, Scorn....
