Caught like a mouse in a maze with no exits
i was trapped
Trapped in the exuberant darkness of a bleak soul
Caught on a whim
Stuck on instant replay
Tripping over myself
because of the memory of you
6 oclock came too early
alarm blaring, rolling out of bed
stubbed my toe on the floor
while thinking of you
Looking at the other side
a small tear falls down my cheek
as i remember
I remember how you used to lay in my arms
so peacefully, so loving
to hear and feel your warm breath,
as i wrapped my arms around you
But those days are gone
And all i am
Is Trapped, with a memory of you.
