Dark of Night

Dripping crimson waterfall—
From skin so pale and white;
Blackened droplets; so small—
Made darker by the night;

Blade so sharp it cuts and bites—
Shining silver gleams;
To alleviate my plight—
To catch the passing dreams;

Embracing when I bleed for you—
My arms will hold you tight;
Pooling red; believe it’s true—
No pity for this sight;

No escape from claws and bites—
So pathetic is this sight—
And never will this be all right—
I’ll hold you in the dark of night…
