”Seclusion”

I’m loosing myself in memories
Of the friendships I once had
Lately everything’s been changing
And I am ever so distant
From the ones I claim to love
And I don’t confide in
The ones I claim to trust
I know I shouldn’t do it
And it only makes things worse
But no matter how hard I try
I cannot change what I do
I continue to bottle it all up
Never letting people in
To help me with my life
Or just be there
With a shoulder to cry on
