Jugular

My heart throbs in my throat

And shame invades the veins

I’ve done it again

Lost myself in something so sweet

Even I know it can’t be reality

And I mean to fix these mistakes

Make amends

Never do it again

But then I look at him again

And my heart throbs in my throat
