And here I am upon the mountain top;
I didn't think you'd follow.

I become agitated.

And did you dance with me there on the mountain?
and does it mean anything?
and aren't we bloody romantic,
making out among the clouds oops,
in a public park?

and nobody even gives acompetitive god-damn
that we brought this upon ourselves,
that we fell off the twenty-first floor oops
into each other's arms.

I become agitated.
Meaning does not occur unless you force it.
The only change is voluntary.
nobody fixes you if you crack in secret
nobody corrects you if you're wrong in your head
nobody rescues you if you die in a corner,
and nobody punishes the bigots.

I wish God would pinch me
wash my brain blank and brush
the sky clear
Reality is full of high tension spiderwebs.

REPEAT

my mind is bound by iron detritus. reality is full of
high-tension spiderwebs.

REPEAT

children yell; the cacanophy solidifies from molten glass to crash all around thoughts are obscured by junk-iron detritus.
reality is held together by spider-web-wires.

REPEAT!

I thought I'd ran far enough!
I beat at the ice-edge of the universe,
my feet merge with the concrete, the air
turns to solid white!
I'm fading into each idiot I meet! The grass is too tall!
Everything is piling up!
My friends have turned into millipedes and the air is filled with cobwebs!

TELL ME, CHILD! DO YOU HURT?
CROUCH AND TREMBLE, LITTLE ONE!
THIS IS MY TIME! THIS IS THE END!

I turn over and kiss you. I become agitated.
