Mutation.
Your body turning against itself, a wanton battle against destiny.
But, is there really destiny? Are people doomed to die at a certain
point in time, even before they are born? Or is there something more?
Is there something else that decides when you die? Or is it just a
coincidence? All of these questions are floating around and yet none
of them have an answer. Why must we be born when we live only to
die?
I'm
not sure if there is something out there that decides when we die.
I'm not sure whether or not life is worth living, especially when you
live in constant fear of death. But those who have lost loved ones
manage to continue living, though at the time, it seems like they've
reached the end. They will never be happy again, not with their loved
one missing.
When
it all happens at first, people always go to you and say, "Oh,
I'm so sorry for your loss," or something similar. They're not
sorry, they didn't know that person, not as well as you did. A few
days pass, and you notice that everyone seems to have forgotten that
someone important to you has died. You hate them for it.
As time passes, you lose your memories of that person yourself. You forget the face of the person, forget their voice, their advice, everything. It's a very sad experience for someone when one day they realize: It's been months since I've even thought of that person! That's when you start hating yourself too.
