i'm a vampire Nosferatu, child of the night

humans call me monster, hellion, an apparition, a specter

but i wasn't always a monster, a hellion, an apparition, a specter

no, i was human once

a mortal

a mortal who lived in a world of choices and justice

but now my world is shadow, blood and death

i was once a creature of the day

who made choices

who slept during the night

and prayed that a monster wouldn't come for me

but now

i am the monster

who walks the night

while you sleep in your warm beds

and hugging your pillow tight

and hoping that monsters stay at bay

i was once human

and yes

i was afraid of monsters

i always had nightmares about them

but i am no longer afraid

because i am a monster

a creature of the night

a Vampire, Nosferatu

an eternal child of the night

I am a Vampire

a child of darkness

who drinks blood and walks the night

who's world is not of choices and justice

but a world of shadows

the shadows that lurk wherever you go

I am the shadow you see in the night

I am the one who your loved ones say is not real

I am part of the night, the night that you pray doesn't kill you

I am the shadow that you see out of the corner of your eye

I am the creature who you hope you never want to see

Because of the tales that you have been told

I am the one who lurks in the shadows of your dreams

All of your dreams

I am the frightening echo that you hear every now and then

And I am the black crow that makes you scared

The light is my monster

The Dark is my savior

i am friends with the night

and enemies with the light

the Priests and churches that once comforted me

is now the things that frighten me most

The creatures of the night and shadows that once frightened me

Are now the things that comfort me when i am frightened by the light

I am one with the night, and i am not alone

I walk the night with my fellow children of the night

in order to become a vampire

i had to pay a hefty price

and the price was my mortality

i made the choice myself

to become a creature of the night

i was never forced to make the decision

a creature of night i am

Now and forever

I can never be normal again

I can't sleep at night anymore

I can't walk in the light

I can' bet friends with the light

I can never be normal again

I am part of the night

I have to drink blood in order to live

I have to sleep during the day

I have to do things a creature of the night does

I am part of the night

I am a Vampire

I will always be a Vampire

I have advanced strength and senses

I Will always have advanced strength and senses

I will always have to drink blood

I walk the night
