Scared

With each step I take,

I take it with fear,

With worry of where it might lead,

I try to walk with strength and carry my head high,

But sometimes that just doesn’t fly.

I don’t know where tomorrow will go,

What the day may bring,

But I’m trying to stand tall,

But I’m about to fall.
