My smile, my love, my laugh,

The world has me to thank for that.

Jimmie’s newfound outlook on life,

He gained that through my pain and strife.

Jessica could barely read a word,

And now, thanks to me, she’s a manga-reading nerd.

Bryce gained some skill whilst acting with me,

And even though I only helped a little, it’s worth getting to see,

The outstanding actor he became,

Even if, now, he barely remembers my name.

Call me conceited, say I’ve done nothing,

I don’t care – You’re wrong.

It won’t be long,

Before I’m helping your child to read,

With the stories I’ve been writing for years,

Ever since Jimmie planted that seed,

That idea that spawned several stories more,

And Bryce who helped with ideas of his own,

And Jessica, who read them and told me to keep goin’,

I owe that to them.

My smile, my love, my laugh,
