Edge of Nothingness

Alone, in whispering twilight

A voice filled with sadness,

Somehow, forgotten by time,

Disappears into nothingness.

No hopes for the future,

No heart for the past.

The forlorn wanderings made

Upon a road never trodden.

The path ahead seems to fade

The world continues to darken.

Yearning for a light to find,

Searching for what was lost.

-

Alone, beneath vanishing skies

A song echoes in melancholy,

Sorrowfully, forgotten by time

Wandering the edge of nothing.
