Faith is essential to all life

But in the wrong hands can be a knife

Be careful lest ye find out you are

The one who will leave the scar

Ever shall that be remembered

Hope of the result you wish for dismembered

It takes many good people to guide

But only one fool to divide

Put faith in the divine and heaven

And make sure not to push simply leaven

For all things require time ample

I illustrate with this example:

A man was confronted by a priest

Who began yelling and never ceased

He bellowed out that God was furious

But the yelling didn’t make the man curious

He simply turned on his heel

Not even trying to conceal

His contempt and lack of understanding

For the priest had been far too commanding

Now a woman was asked by a minister

Her thoughts, his manner not sinister

He was friendly, kind, her opinion he swayed

And for the rest of her life Christian she stayed

Keep with you the lesson of this story

In order to convince of god’s glory

One must be loving not hateful

The Lord will be grateful
