The Note

As crazy as this world seems right now

I’ll need you by my side

If you decide to leave

Please leave me a note

Because if you don’t bother to write

Seeing you will be a tragedy

Watching you fall will be my relief

And it’ll all be well again

Being by and standing by

I wish you’d come and hug me

I’ve felt so lonely for a while

And I want the antidote

As long as you’re happy without the sun

Your moon brings out the werewolf

Leaving your comfort zone

And there’s no one left there

There’s a slight chance here

But what a jump to take

And it’s what counts in the end

There’s many ways to make them ghosts

If I’m gone by tomorrow

And you’re still in bed

Please look on the dresser
