Couch Shopping
One seemed absolutely perfect for my living room
Color-wise, shape-wise, size-wise
Just everything I had ever wanted for a couch
I loved that couch so much
So I bought it and took it home, ecstatic at my purchase
And was horrified to see how horribly the colors did clash
To realize how completely wrong that couch was for that room
I couldn't believe it initially
Yet, as with all truths, I came to accept it
I'm sorry, dear couch
There's absolutely nothing wrong with you
You've top-notch quality
Comfortable, good-looking
You've got so much going for you
But you just don't work in my living room
It's not a good fit
Don't get discouraged
There's a living room out there for you, I'm sure
It's just not me
