Soft petals of anxiety peeked
Along that winter sky
The sun haven set for the evening
Yet two hearts bound to meet
On the corner of that desolate
Snow driven road, silently sitting still
Looks of wonder and smiles of teasing
Their eyes locked in a quiet instance
Where words weren’t needed to be spoken
Unknown shivers outside in the cold,
But so warm within
All thoughts of remembering were lost
As two hands touched, not yet embracing

A winter, still new yet sparkling
With a hidden desire
November now becoming a moment in silence
A hidden balance, but unbridled passion
Shared only between two secrets
Softly caressing unspoken whispers
Tempting enough to tease, just enough
To let everything else in the air linger
Onward against the lights

She looked slowly passed
The dark shadows of the night
Gazing against serendipity’s kiss
Stealing the smoke behind the deepest pool of blue
Her heart skipped, then rested against the beat
Of an unknown palm.
Waiting to touch, to taste
To linger together, not alone
Sliding along the spiraling effect
Of two observers in the night
Waiting for the dark Novembers sky
Importunate thoughts to leave them breathless
To leave a whisper,
Until they heard from one another again
