Looking through the mirror,

I see a little girl.

Soft, bouncy curls all a glow,

She's so young, happy and free.

She doesn't know yet the pains that await.

But while those wait, she'll sit and play.

Nothing is going to ruin her sunlit day.

Her smile is so bright,

And her thoughts are so simple.

A care in this life has never existed for her,

She knows she’s not suppose to cry just yet.

I can't help but to smile when I see that little girl,

Because that little girl use to be me.
