Night's Whisper

An intoxication of stars,
as the night hazily dims.
I feel the night's ice whisper,
prick at my skin.
Dilated pupils;
I will come to stand,
this sense of solitude,
Justto say thatI can.

Drunken on the slur of your words,
the double meaning is lost.
Shakily the stars seem so distrubed,
as ice slowly forms but I enjoy -
the pain.
As I fall asleep in the snow,
I am intoxicated by stars,
as the night slowly dims,
I feel ice resting,
Forever on my skin.
