Smiling from ear to ear.

Nothing bad has happened

So why am I down here?

I'm so sad I could die.

Here I am standing

Right on the edge

Read to jump.

People are yelling

Trying to hold me here

I barely notice them

I just look down.

It looks inviting

Calm and secure

Life seems so hard

Compared to down here.

Can't I just go away?

Leave all this behind?

Dying doesn't seem so bad

Not from where I'm standing.

I've been here awhile.

Sitting on the edge.

I think it's time to let go

Let me slip away.

It shouldn't be this hard

To stay happy and alive

Just let go and be quiet

As I fall from this ledge.
